As you know the situation surrounding Covid-19 (Coronavirus) is changing rapidly, and as a valued partner to Wrkspace business centres we wanted to update you on our management plan. We are reviewing the situation regularly and are following the advice from Government and Public Health England (PHE). As it stands our business centres will remain open and we have implemented the following to mitigate the risk of infection across all buildings under our management.
The plan includes the following:
Introduction of cleaning materials that have been proven effective against (H1N1 influenza virus, Norovirus, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV and the Ebola virus)
Increased frequency of cleaning in areas which have a high touch rate, including kitchen panels and drawer handles, door handles, push plates, microwaves and toilet areas
A management plan to effectively deal with any potentially impacted individual(s)
The implementation of disposable cutlery to help avoid any cross-contamination within our break-out and kitchen areas
Video conferencing facilities will remain available to use for all clients to help avoid the need for face-to-face meetings and unnecessary travel. Increased cleaning and technical checks have also been implemented
In the instance where a client or customer has contracted Coronavirus and has been in a business centre, the centre will close with immediate effect to be deep cleaned. The business centre will then reopen the following day
Visitor protocol
To support the Government and to protect our clients and employees during the Coronavirus outbreak, we have implemented a visitor protocol and sign-in process that will replace the swiped-on system we currently use.
All external guests visiting our business centres will be asked to confirm whether they have travelled to/from a Coronavirus Red Zone or whether, to the best of their knowledge, they have been in direct contact with anyone infected by the virus within the past 14 days. They will also be asked if they have any of the symptoms as described on gov.uk. If they have, we will ask the visitor to kindly reschedule their appointment and/or to conduct an online meeting.
Our expectations from our business centre clients
To clearly communicate the latest advice to all employees and/or third parties in line with Government and Public Health England guidelines
To ensure those employees who are at risk of spreading the virus (those who have attended the Red Zones and/or come into direct contact with someone infected by Coronavirus, or are displaying the symptoms as per gov.uk) do not come into contact with Wrkspace or fellow clients employees
As the situation develops we will continue to follow Government guidelines and relay any changes and updates to you.
